канцтовары и бумага офисная от Драйв Директ | International Partners of Ukrainian Academy of Customs  At the105/106th session of the World Customs Organization (on 23June 2005) Ukraine adopted the SAFE Framework of Standards, introduced by the WCO, and thus, the instruments of their implementation – Professional framework of standards. With the accession to the Protocol on amendments to the International Convention on the simplification and harmonization of Customs procedures ( The Law of Ukraine, 05.10.2006, which entered into force on 1 November 2006) our country undertook commitment to the unification of international security standards, Customs reform and modernization programme, capacity building, which stimulated the international activity of the Academy. Nowadays the Ukrainian Academy of Customs is one of the 5 institutions of higher education in the world, which is putting into practice a pilot project on implementation of international Customs Professional standards. As a member of the International Network of Customs Universities, it takes part in 4 international academic and one methodological training projects, cooperates with 10 institutions in the field of Customs and carries on the cooperation under the agreements with 15 higher educational institutions; implements international programmes and projects: with EUBAM (the Mission of European Commission); with the University of Chicago/Argonne National Laboratory /the US Department of Energy; the BOMMOLUK-2; Ukraine - NATO; GUAM – the USA; with the United Nations Development Project, with Center for International Legal Studies (Austria) and Institute for Security and Counter-Terrorism. Welcoming the foreign students, the Academy has trained the customs officials for Kyrgyz Republic for some years now. In the framework of cooperation with EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine the Academy regularly holds workshops and advanced trainings for customs personnel. With the assistance of Argonne National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy the Academy provides the course of lectures on The Fundamentals of Export Control for cadets, as well as international workshops on matters relating to Export Control and Identification of Dual-Use Commodities – for customs officers of Ukraine. The international activity of the Academy was extended with opening in September 2010 the WCO Regional Training Centre. The WCO considers the Academy as an important instrument of implementing the regional strategy of capacity building in European region, as well as an academic and methodological centre of the WCO. |
