| Museum The Museum of the Customs Service of Ukraine is founded by its order and it has the status of departmental.The exposition is based on a subject-chronological principle and highlights the history of Customs activities and Customs Administration which have been existing on the territory of modern Ukraine from ancient times to today. Search and exposition work on collecting of information, documents, photos, samples of smuggling and counterfeit products, customs forms of all times and countries was held by customs officers, employees of Customs agency and Customs organization during for a long time. The exposition of museum is posted in 3 halls and has over than 3000 exhibits, including unique ones which tell about development of trade and customs relations and Customs State on a territory of Northern Black Sea region in the ancient times, during the period of Cossack in other historical periods. Individual exposition is dedicated to formation of development of the Customs Service in independent Ukraine. The achievements of its exposition are reported on stands, which cover work of Ukrainian Customs officers against illegal movements of the weapon, drugs, Ukrainian national shrines, objects of historical memory of Ukrainian people, counterfeit production, currency and articles of precious metals and stones through the customs border of our country. There are fragments of the original and layouts of various cashes of smuggling in wardrobes, on showcases and stands. Since its foundation the museum was visited by a significant number of employees of Customs Administration of Ukraine, members of foreign delegations, co-workers, cadets or students of UAC.                       |
